Stone built blues

Imprisoned to eternal order,
tightly masoned red stones
gaze bonded at the afternoon light.
Rebels protrude, a path aloft.

Below water flows hastily
to meet the Aegean blue.
To join the mother sea.
To become salty - alive.

For such is the purpose
to be salty to join the sea,
where order is neigh a bond
nor is the light a maze of green.

For order at sea is the wave
and cleansing path aloft
the blue light - abundant to all,
rebels and obedient alike.

Light Cage

And there I saw my thoughts trapped.
Aegean summer light showering around.
I sought shelter in the comfort of my childhood
shadows - bliss is the belfry.

Saint George's bells tolled midsummer noon.
One last line remains to cast off.
Then there shall be the open sea.
Set a blue sail - homebound .

A blue roof and a water mattress.
Homebound to the Archipelagos.
Never shall I be slave to the shadows,
neigh shall I seek shelter from light.

Pebbles - Wind & Salty Water

When night falls,
those whispers can't you hear ?

Salty water ...
Shape the pebbles.

Wind blow ...
Dust me off my thoughts.

I shall be cleansed in salty water.
I shall be dried by salty wind.

All those years ...
unshaped pebbles are my thoughts.

Salty water - wind ...
Carve my thoughts.

A Nail's Shadow

A nail casts it's shadow over old flacking paint.
It looks so dominating in this small world.
Yet it takes for just a hammer to cast it's shadow
upon the nail to dwarf it's short lived glory.

It's all a matter of scale !
In the cosmos man is dwarfed ...
Like cosmic dust, infinitesimally small
is blow away to an eternal cycle.

It's all a matter of scale !
In his micro-cosmos man is grandiose ...
Like cosmic dust, infinitesimally small
he shall be blown away to an eternal cycle.

An eternal cycle of learning and knowledge.

Eternity is a curse in human terms.
God help us find our scale ...
Like cosmic dust, infinitesimally small
blow us closer to improvement and
spare us from the eternal cycle.
